A COUPLE OF BITES IN THE BIG APPLE

We have done it again! We liked it so much last time that we decided to repeat the experience: we have won 2 prizes as finalists in the New York Global Awards 2006, a prestigious international ad festival with healthcare agencies from 39 countries taking part.
The awards we won were:
- Finalist in the Direct Marketing category: Action ‘Smoking pack’, made by NicoBloc.
- Finalist in the Internet/ Website for consumers category: Web page www. skinning.com, for SKiN VitalRobert.
A huge success, for which we want to thank all the professionals at the agency, our customers and, of course, the Global Awards jury ( we can assure you that the similarity between the names of the festivals and agency are purely coincidental). And watch out, all therest of the festivals, because, despite these two big bites, we are still hungry.

THINK GREEN

Not long ago, we put on our sun visors and diamond-patterned sweaters again to celebrate a new edition of the Farmagolf Tournament. The event was held on 30September in Barcelona (6th edition) and on 14 Octoberin Madrid (1st edition).
Over 70 professionals from a total of 20 pharmaceutical laboratories were invited to take part and enjoy a quiet day in the country, demonstrating that they are not only concerned with health in the workplace. There was interest in both the official competition, where good play prevailed, and the beginners Clinic, where good… humour prevailed.
Yet again, the tournament was a success, but this will be Nothing in comparison with the amazing new event that we have planned for : GH will be holding the first Farmagolf ‘Ryder Cup’, at which a team of our Barcelona customers and a team of Madrid customers will play eachother in a hard-fought contest to decide the winning city, in what really will be a ‘healthy rivalry’, in every sense of the word.

MORE GLOBAL THAN EVER

Last August 31st we crossed the Atlantic to hold the first Seminar of European Pharmaceutical Marketing in Mexico DF.
Sponsored by the Aspid Mexico Awards and the University of Communication in Mexico city, the Seminar was attended by more than 60 professionals of the pharmaceutical sector, including PMs, MK directors and advertising agencies.
Based in the title: ‘Brand: Positioning as a big success factor’, several items related with to a successful Positioning Strategy where discussed, as well as the creation of a solid relationship between the brand and the prescriptor.
But we wouldn’t make such a long trip just for a Seminar. In addition, we had the honor to be invited as the agency with the most Aspid Awards in Spain, to attend the 2nd Edition of the Aspid Awards in Mexico.
With these amazing ‘American’ news, Global Healthcare is again consolidated as one of the healthiest local agencies in the sector.
